About Tank Stars
Tank Stars is artillery warfare in its purest form: two war machines, rolling 2D terrain and a lot of explosions. On your turn you nudge your tank into position, find the right firing angle and let the shell fly toward your enemy. Landing a direct hit is deeply satisfying, especially when the shot arcs over a hill you thought was blocking the way, and there's no time to dither because slow shooters lose.
The game works well against a friend, where every near miss becomes an excuse for trash talk, and it's equally fun as a solo duel. Matches are short and tactical, built around reading distance and slope rather than twitch reflexes. If you liked classic turn-based shooters where physics does half the work, you'll quickly settle into the rhythm of moving, aiming and firing, then holding your breath as the shell comes down.
How to play Tank Stars
- Move your tank left or right to find a good firing position.
- Aim by adjusting your shooting angle toward the enemy tank.
- Fire before you run out of time, since hesitating can cost you the match.
- Keep landing hits until your opponent's tank is destroyed.
