About The Pizza Edition

A small games site with a simple promise: good games, served fast.

The Pizza Edition is an independent free games website. We started it because finding a good browser game shouldn’t mean wading through broken embeds, copy-paste clones and pages so heavy they freeze a school Chromebook. Today the site has 140+ hand-picked games, each with a real guide to how it plays.

How we choose games

Every game on The Pizza Edition goes through the same checks before it is published:

  • It has to be fun. We play it ourselves and skip low-effort clones of the same idea.
  • It has to load reliably in Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, including on low-memory Chromebooks.
  • It has to be appropriate. We favor games without gore or mature themes so the site works for a wide audience.
  • It has to be licensed. Third-party games are embedded through official distribution partners that license them to websites like ours, and they stay credited to their developers.

Each game page then gets its own write-up: what the game is about, step-by-step instructions, a controls table, strategy tips and answers to common questions.

The Pizza Edition Originals

We also make our own games. The 12 games in The Pizza Edition Originals – including Pizza Clicker, Slice Runner and Pizza Blocks – are built from scratch in plain HTML5, hosted on this site, and designed to load instantly, work with touch screens, and run smoothly even on modest hardware. They contain no ads and collect no personal data; best scores stay on your own device.

How the site stays free

The Pizza Edition is free to use and never asks you to sign up. Some partner games show short ads served by their distribution platform, which is how their developers get paid. We may add clearly labeled advertising to the site in the future to cover hosting costs; it will never be placed inside our original games.
