Arcade Games

Pick-up-and-play games built around one skill: timing, dodging or aiming. Most rounds last a minute or two, which makes them perfect for short breaks.

One-Button and One-Touch Games

The purest arcade games use a single input. In Helix Jump, you rotate a tower so a bouncing ball drops through the gaps while avoiding the red sections, and Stack Ball has you hold to smash down through spinning platforms. Flappy Dunk asks you to click to keep a basketball in the air and send it through each hoop.

Our own Flappy Pizza and Pizza Stack are built on the same one-button idea. Because they're hosted on The Pizza Edition itself rather than loaded from another portal, they start quickly, and a round takes about as long as it takes to read this paragraph.

Runners, Dodgers and Retro Classics

Crossy Chicken is a road-crossing game in the spirit of Frogger: hop past traffic, logs and trains, and don't stand still for too long. Runners like Doodle Dino Run speed up the longer you survive, and our original Slice Runner gives the endless-runner formula a pizza-delivery twist.

Prefer the old-school classics? Pizza Breakout is our brick breaker with power-ups and more than eight levels, and Pizza Snake brings back the snake game with classic and wrap-around modes. If you want a stiffer challenge, our platformer games demand sharper movement, and the puzzle games page is the place to go when you'd rather think than react.

Getting Better at Arcade Games

Arcade games look simple, but each one has a trick. In Helix Jump, dropping through three or more platforms in a row lets you break through a red section, so a little speed can save you. In Crossy Chicken, keep moving, because standing still too long ends your run. In Pizza Breakout, use the power-ups whenever they appear; they can turn a stubborn level into an easy one. Above all, play in short bursts, since reflex games get harder when you're tired, not easier.

Arcade Games FAQ

What are the best arcade games for a quick break?

Helix Jump and Pizza Stack are ideal because a round ends the moment you make a mistake, so you can stop whenever you need to. Tiny Fishing also works well, since each cast is short and the upgrades you buy carry over to your next session.

Which arcade games run best on older laptops?

Simple 2D games such as Pizza Snake, Pizza Breakout and Flappy Pizza ask the least of your hardware. 3D games like Snow Rider 3D and Stack Ball can stutter on low-end machines, so close extra tabs before playing them.

Can I play arcade games with a friend?

Yes. Tunnel Road has a 2-player mode, and Geometry Vibes includes a race mode for two to four players on one keyboard, with the extra players using keys such as the up arrow, H and L. Snake Duel also has a local 2 Player mode.
