About Pepper Sweeper
Pepper Sweeper is minesweeper with a kitchen twist. Hot peppers are hidden under a grid of crust tiles, and your job is to uncover every safe tile without biting into one. Each tile you open shows a number that tells you how many peppers touch it, including diagonals. Use those numbers to work out where the peppers must be, flag them, and keep clearing.
You can pick from three board sizes: Beginner (9 by 9 with 10 peppers), Intermediate (16 by 16 with 40), and Expert (30 by 16 with 99). Your first click is always safe and opens a patch of the board, so you never lose on a blind guess at the start. The timer starts on that first click, and your best time for each difficulty is saved in your browser. It plays with a mouse, a keyboard, or a touch screen.
How to play Pepper Sweeper

- Read the numbers: each one counts the peppers in the eight tiles around it.

Tips and tricks
- A 1 that touches only one hidden tile tells you exactly where a pepper is. Flag it, then look at what that flag settles nearby.
- Watch for the 1-2-1 pattern along a straight edge: the peppers sit under the two 1s, and the tile under the 2 is safe.
- Once a number has all its peppers flagged, click it to open the rest of its neighbors at once. This saves a lot of time.
- When you have to guess, guess away from crowded numbers. Corners and open stretches far from known peppers are usually safer.
